In the French Newspaper « Les Echos », Jeanne Lemoine co-founder of Groupe Lemoine was interviewed about situation on masks productions in Europe and difficulties for local producer to compete against chinese producer not only on price biut also taking into account the planet.

Although a large number of French companies invested in production tools in France during the Covid pandemic to meet the needs for surgical masks, public markets are awarding new contracts to importers who bring their products from China.

The risked pointed out by Mrs Lemoine is the closing of production units and loss of knowledge that has been acquired to  be able to respond to the high standards of those specific and technical products.
